Romans Road of Salvation
- Everyone needs salvation because we have all sinned.
Romans 3:10-12, and 23
"10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: 11There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.
12They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"(KJV)
- The price (or consequence) of sin is death.
Romans 6:23
" For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."(KJV)
- Jesus Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for our death.
Romans 5:8
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."(KJV)
- We receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9-10, and 13
"9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."(KJV)
- Salvation through Jesus Christ brings us into a relationship of peace with God.
Romans 5:1
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:"(KJV)
Romans 8:1
"1[There is] therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."(KJV)
Romans 8:38-39
"38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."(KJV)
Once you understand that you are a sinner and that the only way you can get to Heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal savior, pray the following prayer:
Dear Father,
I now believe that Jesus Christ is Your only begotten Son, that He
came to our earth in the flesh and died on the cross to take away all
of my sins and the sins of this world. I believe that Jesus Christ
then rose from the dead on the third day to give all of us eternal
life.
Lord Jesus,
I now confess to You all of the wrong and sinful things that I have
ever done in my life. I ask that You please forgive me and wash away
all of my sins by the blood that You have personally shed for me on
the cross. I am now ready to accept You as my personal Lord and
Savior. I now ask that You come into my life and live with me for all
of eternity.
Father, Jesus – I now believe that I am truly saved and born again.
Thank You Father.
